Upside Down Pizza Recipe
Ingredients:
8 inch rounds of pita bread, left whole
1 bell pepper, diced
Quartered slices of pepperoni
1 onion, diced
Tomatoes, Diced
Italian herbs
Mushrooms, Sliced
Parmesan cheese for garnish
Directions:
In a skillet, add in vegetable ingredients, seasonings and slices of pepperoni and stir them for about 1 min. or just until they are tender and crispy then a little cheese should be added as well. Layer the pita rounds on the top of sauteed meat and vegetables and press it together firmly.
Then slowly place any flat clean plate on the pan then invert it so that the pizza will transfer to the plate. Sprinkle with grated cheese and slice in wedges before serving.
