Potato Pizza Bake Recipe
Ingredients:
4 cups potatoes, thinly sliced
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
6 ozs. Mozzarella cheese, sliced
1 can Cheddar cheese soup
1/2 tsp. sugar
1 soup can milk
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 tbsp. butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Oven should be preheated around 375′ F. In a skillet, cook the beef until it browns and no longer has any pink color.
Lightly butter a 9×13-inch pan and layer the potatoes and sliced onions on it. Add in the cooked beef mixture. In another bowl, combine together milk and cheddar soup until it smoothens and then add this mixture to the potatoes and meat.
Mix sugar, oregano, tomato sauce, pepper and salt. Pour this mixture over the top of the cheddar soup and milk mix. Place dots of butter on the top and then cover with aluminum foil the pan and bake for an hour in the oven.
Remove the foil and layer slices of mozzarella on the top and then sprinkle with some parmesan. Put the dish back in the oven, now uncovered and continue to bake for 15 more minutes or just until the cheese is bubbling.
