A-1-Derful Mini Pizzas Recipe

Ingredients:

3/4 lb. ground beef
1/4 cup minced onion
1 can (6 ounces size) tomato paste
3 tbsps. A.1. Steak sauce
1 tsp. Italian herb seasonings
6 English muffins, split and toasted
2 cups sliced mozzarella cheese
grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup sliced green onion

Directions:

In a medium sized skillet, crumble and start to cook the meat and wait until it is not anymore pink in color. Drain the juices from the meat. Add in the onions and cook some more until the onions become soft. Pour in the tomato paste, Italian seasoning and steak sauce. Let the mixture simmer.

On the muffins that have been split, spread some of the meaty mixture and put on the top some of the green onions and cheeses. Put them on a baking sheet and broil the muffins for about 2-4 mins or just until the cheese melts.

Pizza With Fontina Artichoke Hearts and Red Onion Recipe

Ingredients:

1 lb. Frozen white bread dough; thawed according to instructions from its package
1 pkg. (9 ounce size) frozen artichokes, thawed out
2 tbsps. Olive oil, divided
1/2 thinly sliced medium Red onion
1 cup Fontina cheese, shredded
2 tbsps. Wheat bran or cornmeal
Salt & freshly ground black pepper to taste
1 clove finely chopped garlic

Directions:

Oven should be preheated around 450′ F. Artichoke hearts should be drained and then sliced. In a lightly greased baking sheet be sure to press out the dough in a 9×12-inch rectangle and be sure to crimp the edges to make a rim.

Brush the rolled out dough with 1/2 of the olive oil and then sprinkle some cornmeal or bran on the top. Press the cornmeal or bran lightly on the dough. Then layer with the chopped garlic.

Layer out the sliced onions on the dough and then arrange the artichoke hearts on the top. Lightly drizzle the top of pizza with 1/2 of the olive oil. Then season the top with pepper and salt.

Top it then with the shredded fontina cheese. Don’t allow dough to rise. It might be kept inside the fridge a few minutes prior to baking. Place in the oven for about 15 mins. or just until the crust has turned a golden brown.

Bertucci’s Nolio Pizza Recipe


Bertucci’s Nolio Pizza Recipe

Ingredients:

1 med. yellow onion
1 tsp. white pepper
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 lemon
1 1/2 cup shredded prosciutto
1 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 pkg. Pilsbury pizza dough (or homemade).
Olive oil

Directions:

Oven should be preheated to 400′ F.

In a saucepan, boil the heavy cream and wait for it to thicken. Then, add the juice of half a lemon and white pepper. Make sure that your onions are thinly sliced to have rings. Then saute onions in oil and wait for them to brown.

Put together your pizza in the following order:

First, roll out the dough into a non stick pizza pan. Put the cheese and follow with the prosciutto. Next, add your thickened cream 1 tbsp at a time and spread it all over your pizza evenly. Drain your onions rings and top them last. Onions will caramelize as your pizza is baking in the oven. Bake for about 8-10 mins. Remember to not overly bake your pizza because they might become dry.

Kid Sized Pizzas Recipe

Ingredients:

4 English muffins split into 2
3/4 cup pizza sauce
1/4 lb. Canadian bacon
6 large mushrooms, sliced
4 large black olives, sliced
1 small onion, sliced
1/2 med. green pepper, sliced
1/4 lb. shredded mozzarella cheese
1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese

Directions:

Spread about 2 tbsps. of pizza sauce on top of your muffin halves. Layer the muffin halves with about 1/8 of the mushrooms, green pepper, onion, bacon and olives. After, sprinkle equal portions of grated parmesan and shredded mozzarella.

Put in a baking sheet that is nonstick and bake in the oven for about 10-15 mins at 350′ F or just until the cheese is melting and it begins turning brown in color. Serve while fresh from the oven.

Bubble Pizza Recipe

Ingredients:

1 1/2 lb. beef, browned and drained
15 ozs. pizza sauce
1 can refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
12 ozs. shredded pizza blend cheese

Directions:

In a bowl, mix together the cooked beef and pizza sauce. Mix well. Buttermilk biscuits should be cut into quarters. Place biscuits on a well oiled 9×13 inch pan. Put the beef and pizza sauce mixture on the top.

Bake in the oven for about 20 mins in 400 degrees. Then, sprinkle the cheese and allow to cook until the cheese is melting. Let it cool for 5 to 10 minutes prior to serving. If you want more toppings on it you can just add them in with the beefy mixture prior to being baked.

Beer Pizza Recipe

Ingredients:

1 tbsp. olive oil
1/2 lb. pepperoni sausage — diced
1 lb. bacon — diced
1 can sliced mushrooms (4 oz. size) drained
1 onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 can tomato sauce (28 oz size)
1 cup beer
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp. dried oregano
1/2 tsp. dried thyme
1/2 tsp. salt
2 unbaked pizza crusts
8 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions:

Oven should be preheated to around 450′ F.

On medium heat in a skillet, heat some oil. Saut� bacon and pepperoni until they are browned. Then, add the onions, green paper and mushrooms. Cook them until they are tender for 5 mins.

In a saucepan on medium heat, combine tomato sauce, beer and your cooked ingredients in the skillet that we set aside. Season the saucy mixture with some salt, thyme, garlic and oregano. Let the beefy mixture simmer in your saucepan for 15 mins or until it has slightly become thick. Evenly spread this on your crusts. Then put the mozzarella cheese on top.

Bake in oven for around 20-25 mins until pizza crust has turned a golden color and cheese starts to melt.

Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza Recipe


Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza Recipe

Ingredients:

1/2 lb. ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1 pre-baked Italian bread shell crust
8 oz. can pizza sauce
6 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
20 dill pickle coin slices
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 tsp. pizza or Italian seasonings

Directions:

In a pan, cook your onion and beef. Make sure that your meat is not anymore pink. Drain after cooking and set it aside. Put your pizza crust onto a 12 inch pizza pan that has not been greased. Then, spread the sauce evenly on top, follow with the beefy mixture, pickles, cheese and bacon. Sprinkle the seasonings on the top. Pizza should be baked at 450′ F for about 10 mins or just until the cheeses are melting. Slice and then serve.

Broccoli Rabe And Chick-Pea Pita Pizzas Recipe

Ingredients:

3 (6-inch) pita breads split in half to form circles
1 large bunch broccoli rabe, chopped, coarse stems discarded
1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
1/2 cup water
2 cloves thinly sliced garlic
1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
1 (19-oz.) can chick-peas — rinsed and drained
1/2 tsp. dried hot red pepper flakes

Directions:

Oven should be preheated to around 400′ F. Inside a skillet, saute the garlic in olive oil on medium flame until it is pale gold in color. Remove the garlic from the pan and transfer cooked garlic & a tablespoon of oil in the food processor.

Put the chick-peas, pepper, salt & 1/4 cup of water inside the processor then blend it until it smoothens. Heat the oil that remained in the skillet on medium high then cook the broccoli rabe using tongs to turn it once in a while until it wilts.
Add in 1/4 cup of water then red pepper flakes then simmer partially covered for 2 mins. or just until the broccoli is tender and liquid evaporates.

Evenly spread out chick-pea mixture inside the pitas then top grated parmesan. In a baking or cookie sheet, arrange the pitas & cook in the middle of the oven for 10 mins. or just until the edges turn golden.

Homemade Pizza Recipe


Homemade Pizza Recipe

Ingredients:

For Pizza Dough:

1 pkg. Active Dry Yeast
2 1/2 cups Flour
2 tbsps. Oil
1 tsp. Salt
1 cup Warm Water (105-115’ F)
1 tsp. Sugar

For the Sauce:

1 (8-ounce) can Tomato Sauce
1/2 cup chopped Onion
1/4 tsp. Salt
1/8 tsp. White Pepper
1 1/8 tsp. bottled Garlic, or more to taste

Meat and Vegetable Toppings:

1 lb. Sweet or Hot Italian Sausage, removed from casings
1 cup frozen Birdseye Stir-fried Peppers
1 cup sliced Ripe Olives
1 cup sliced Pepperoni
1 (4-ounce) can sliced Mushrooms
1 cup chopped Onions

Directions:

To make the dough:

In a bowl, dissolve the yeast in the warm water. Then put in all the other ingredients for the dough and beat it vigorously to 20 strong strokes. Let the dough rest for 15 mins covered in the bowl or just until you are preparing the sauce. For making the sauce, just mix all the ingredients together and then set it aside.

Preheat oven to 425′ F. Cut your dough into 2 equal portions and place them on slightly oiled 12-inch pizza or pie pans that have been dusted with cornmeal. Pat or press your dough to make a circle in the pans that measure about 10-12 inches in diameter.

Make sure to equally divide the sauce among the 2 pizzas and cover them with the sauce. For each of the pizzas evenly sprinkle with 1/4 cup of the shredded parmesan and 2 teaspoons of the oregano.

For the vegetable and meat toppings:

In a skillet, sauté the sausages just until they are almost cooked and stir them up to break them into pieces. Next, add in pepperoni, olives, mushrooms, onions and peppers and cook them up until the sausages are cooked through.

Drain the cooked meats and vegetables in a colander and drain the drippings well.

Evenly layer out the toppings on each of your pizzas and then sprinkle about a cup of the shredded mozzarella on each. Bake at 425′ F for about 20-25 mins on the oven’s lower rack until the crust has browned and the filling has become bubbly and hot.

Southwest Beef And Chile Pizza Recipe

Ingredients:

1 prepared pizza shell (12 inch size)
1 lb. ground beef
4 ozs. diced green chilies, diced and drained
1 1/4 cup mild chunky salsa
1/2 small thinly sliced red onion
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsps. Fresh cilantro, chopped
1 1/2 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend or Monterey jack cheese, shredded
2 med. plum tomatoes, seeded and chopped

Directions:

Oven should be preheated around 450′ F. In a skillet, cook and brown beef on medium flame for about 8-10 mins. and make sure to crumble beef while cooking. Lightly season it with salt and then drain.

In an unoiled pizza pan, put the prepared shell of pizza and then evenly spread out salsa all over shell. Sprinkle shell with 3/4 cup of shredded cheese. Layer with tomatoes, beef, onions and chilies and also with remaining shredded cheese for the last touch on top.

Cook in oven for about 11-12 mins. or just until topping has been heated through and cheese melts. Take out of oven and then sprinkle the top with chopped cilantro. Cut in wedges then serve while hot.

Upside Down Pizza Recipe

Ingredients:

8 inch rounds of pita bread, left whole
1 bell pepper, diced
Quartered slices of pepperoni
1 onion, diced
Tomatoes, Diced
Italian herbs
Mushrooms, Sliced
Parmesan cheese for garnish

Directions:

In a skillet, add in vegetable ingredients, seasonings and slices of pepperoni and stir them for about 1 min. or just until they are tender and crispy then a little cheese should be added as well. Layer the pita rounds on the top of sauteed meat and vegetables and press it together firmly.

Then slowly place any flat clean plate on the pan then invert it so that the pizza will transfer to the plate. Sprinkle with grated cheese and slice in wedges before serving.

White Pizza Recipe


White Pizza Recipe

Ingredients:

1 (12-inch size) Pizza shell
2 med. Sliced thinly Tomatoes
1/4 cup grated Romano
2 tbsps. Olive oil
2 tsps. Dried Oregano
2 med. thinly sliced Tomatoes
2 tbsps. Fresh Basil OR
2 tsps. Dried Basil
1/4 lb. grated Mozzarella
4 tsps. Chopped finely Garlic
1/4 lb. grated Provolone

Directions:

Roll out crusts into a round 12-inch shape and brush the crust lightly with some olive oil. Then sprinkle basil and garlic on the crust. Layer the slices of tomato on the crusts and then sprinkle grated Romano, mozzarella and provolone on top.

Bake inside preheated (425-450′ F) oven for 12-15 mins. or just until the cheese melts and the crust becomes light brown in color. Sprinkle oregano. You can also bake it on a parchment paper direct on the oven tiles or pizza stone.

Potato Pizza Bake Recipe

Ingredients:

4 cups potatoes, thinly sliced
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
6 ozs. Mozzarella cheese, sliced
1 can Cheddar cheese soup
1/2 tsp. sugar
1 soup can milk
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 tbsp. butter
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Oven should be preheated around 375′ F. In a skillet, cook the beef until it browns and no longer has any pink color.

Lightly butter a 9×13-inch pan and layer the potatoes and sliced onions on it. Add in the cooked beef mixture. In another bowl, combine together milk and cheddar soup until it smoothens and then add this mixture to the potatoes and meat.

Mix sugar, oregano, tomato sauce, pepper and salt. Pour this mixture over the top of the cheddar soup and milk mix. Place dots of butter on the top and then cover with aluminum foil the pan and bake for an hour in the oven.

Remove the foil and layer slices of mozzarella on the top and then sprinkle with some parmesan. Put the dish back in the oven, now uncovered and continue to bake for 15 more minutes or just until the cheese is bubbling.

Reuben Pizza Recipe


Reuben Pizza Recipe

Ingredients:

1 loaf (16-oz. size) frozen whole wheat bread dough, thawed
6 ozs. Cooked corned beef, thinly sliced
1/2 cup Thousand Island salad dressing
1/2 tsp. caraway seed
2 cups Swiss cheese, shredded
1 can (8-oz. size) sauerkraut, rinsed and well drained
Chopped dill pickle slices (optional)

Directions:

Oven should be preheated around 375′ F. Dust with flour a flat surface and roll out your dough in a 14-inch round pizza shape.

Place the dough in a well oiled 13-inch pizza pan and edges should be built up slightly and be sure to prick the dough using a fork.

Bake in the oven for about 20-25 mins. or just until it is lightly brown in color. Evenly spread out 1/4 cup of Thousand Island dressing on the hot pizza crust and sprinkle a cup of shredded Swiss cheese.

Layer the corned beef on top of your cheese and drizzle the remainder of your dressing on top of slices of corned beef.

Layer it with the sauerkraut and 1 cup of the Swiss cheese and then sprinkle the caraway seeds on top. Bake for another 10 mins. or just until the cheese is melting and the pizza has been heated all over. Top it with the dill pickles if you want.

Polenta Pizzarina Recipe


Polenta Pizzarina Recipe

Ingredients:

2 cups polenta
2 quarts water
16 ozs. soy mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup vegetarian pizza sauce
12 ozs. Box of mushrooms, wiped clean
1/2 tsp. dried chili pepper flakes
1 tbsp. Italian or pizza seasoning
2 large, not-quite-ripe tomatoes, rinsed
1 large green pepper, rinsed and seeded
Non-fat cooking spray

Directions:

Oven should now be preheated around 350′ F. Inside a dutch oven or big pot, bring the 2 quarts water to boiling state on high flame. In the meantime, soy cheese should be grated and then set this aside.

When the water boils, little by little add in polenta and stir it continuously. Then reduce the heat around medium-low all the while still stirring so that polenta does not become lumpy and will not be burned.

You might have to cover pot partially because polenta might start to spit as they thicken.

It will take around 20 mins. of cooking before polenta thickens into a porridge-like consistency. Meanwhile chop green peppers finely and cut mushrooms into slices as well as the tomatoes.

In a skillet, heat non-fat cooking oil and then saute the slices of mushrooms & peppers on medium flame or just until juices are released. Juicy excess should be drained.

If polenta becomes thick, turn heat off and then put in 1/2 of grated mozzarella & 1/2 teaspoon of dried flakes of pepper. Prepare a 10×15-inch stainless steel pan or rectangular glass and evenly spread polenta over. Cool polenta for about 15 mins. and then have a short break.

After polenta cools down, evenly spread vegetarian sauce on top and then follow with the mushroom and green pepper mixture and slices of tomato. Layer the remaining mozzarella cheese and follow with seasoning (Italian).

Bake in oven’s lower rack for about 15 to 20 mins. until cheese melts and pizza is heated all over.

Pop-Up Pizza Casserole Recipe


Pop-Up Pizza Casserole Recipe

Ingredients:

1 1/2 lb. Hamburger
1 pkg. Spaghetti sauce mix (1.5ounce)
1 cup chopped Onion
1 cup Flour
2 Eggs
1 cup chopped Green pepper
7 ozs. Monterey Jack or Mozzarella cheese slices
1 clove Garlic
1/2 cup Water
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. Oregano
1/8 tsp. Hot pepper sauce
1 cup Milk
1 tbsp. Oil
1/2 tsp. Salt
A dash Salt

Directions:

Oven should be preheated around 400′ F. In a skillet, cook hamburgers until they are browned and drain drippings. Add in spaghetti sauce, onions, tomato sauce, garlic, green peppers, water, salt and hot sauce and let this mixture simmer for 10 mins. and stir every now and then.

In a mixer, beat together eggs, oil and milk for a minute at medium speed. Next, add in salt and flour then beat again for 2 minutes until mixture becomes smooth. Prepare a 13×9-inch pan and evenly spread out the hot meaty mix into the pan then top with the slices of cheese.

Cover the slices of cheese completely with batter and then top with grated parmesan. Bake in the oven for about 25 to 30 minutes in 400′ F or just until dish appears golden and puffed.

Artichoke and Red Pepper Pizza Recipe


Artichoke and Red Pepper Pizza Recipe

Ingredients:

Freshly cracked pepper
1 Boboli Thin Pizza Shell
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 1/2 cup parts skim mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 cup red bell pepper, julienned
1 tsp. dried basil
5 cloves minced garlic
1 tsp. dried oregano
1 jar mushrooms, drained and sliced
1 can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped (not in oil)

Directions:

In a skillet that is nonstick, heat some oil and cook then simmer all the ingredients together except for the cheese until they are tender. Layer the simmered ingredients on the Boboli shell then top it with shredded cheese. Cook in the oven as per instructions on the package of Boboli.

Homemade Pizza Recipe

Ingredients:

1 1/4 oz. active baker’s yeast
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. sugar
1 1/4 cup warm water (110-115� F)
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 tbsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. salt
1 small onion, chopped
1 med. Diced green pepper
15 ozs. tomato sauce
1 tsp. dried basil

Directions:

In a bowl, combine sugar, yeast and the warm water and make sure that yeast is fully dissolved. Let this stand for about 5 mins. Add in the salt and oil and put in 1 cup of flour one at a time and wait for a soft ball of dough to form.

Lightly dust a flat surface with some flour and then put your dough on it and start kneading until the dough becomes elastic and smooth. This will take around 2 to 3 mins.

Put the dough in a well oiled bowl and turn it so that all sides of the dough will be coated with oil and let it rise covered in a warm place until dough has risen to double its size for around 45 mins.

In a skillet, cook the onions and beef until browned and then drain well. Punch down on the dough to release air and then cut into 2 equal portions. Lightly grease 2 12-inch pizza or pie pan and press out each of the dough into the pans.

Mix together basil, oregano and tomato sauce and then spread evenly over the crusts. Layer the green peppers and beefy mixture and sprinkle cheese on top. Bake in the oven for about 25 to 30 mins at 400′ F or just until the crust has browned.
